Terms of Service
Welcome to Ask Akasha. Please read these terms before creating an account or continuing to use the service. Continued use means you accept them.
1. What this service is
Ask Akasha provides AI-generated astrology, tarot, I Ching, and metaphysical readings, intended for self-reflection and inner exploration. Every reading is for entertainment and reflection only — it is not medical, legal, psychological, financial, or other professional advice. If you face a real medical, legal, mental-health, or financial concern, please consult a licensed professional.
2. Account
You provide a real, working email to create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account; if you suspect compromise, change your password and sign out from all devices immediately. You must be at least 13 years old. Some jurisdictions require parental consent for minors; we adopt 13 as the floor and reserve the right to delete accounts we reasonably believe to be operated by someone under 13.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the questions, notes, and profile information you input. You grant Ask Akasha a limited license to process this content as part of providing the service: send it to AI models to generate readings, store it in encrypted form, display it according to your settings. We do not use your content to train third-party models, do not display it publicly, and do not sell it to advertisers. You will not submit: unlawful content; another person's private information (real name, address, phone) without their permission; prompts that attempt to jailbreak the model; spam or automated abuse.
4. Acceptable use
You will not: • Reverse-engineer or scrape our prompts, reading templates, or profile-computation logic. • Bypass rate limits or impersonate another user. • Weaponize readings against others (e.g., spreading fabricated "fated" judgments about someone). • Use the service for fraud, divination arbitrage, or psychological manipulation. Violations may result in suspension or permanent deletion, with no refund of any fees paid (the MVP is free).
5. Limitations of AI readings
AI readings come from probabilistic models and can: • Be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unrelated to your actual situation; • Give different readings to similar questions at different times; • Occasionally hallucinate (e.g., reference astrological combinations that do not exist). Treat every reading as material for reflection — not as fact, not as instruction. Make important decisions on your own judgment or by consulting a professional.
6. Service changes and downtime
We may: • Update features, modify UI, or adjust reading style without prior notice; • Pause the service for maintenance, incidents, or third-party outages; • Notify you in-app or by email before material changes. We do not guarantee an SLA during MVP; service-level commitments will be added when we leave MVP.
7. Data and privacy
How we handle your data is described in /legal/privacy. In short: reading content goes to AI models for the reading, profile is used for personalization, none of it goes to advertising or resale.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in settings (recoverable for 30 days, permanent thereafter). We may delete an account in cases of: terms violations, prolonged inactivity (24+ months), regulatory requirement, or service shutdown. Before shutting down the service we will email all users 30 days in advance and provide a data export.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Ask Akasha is not liable for any decisions, losses, or emotional distress arising from your use of readings. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore (excluding conflict-of-laws rules); disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
